Private Payment: cash, check, credit card; rates starting at $50/session
HSA/FSA cards
Autism Scholarship Program (ASP)
Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship (JPSN)

Reimbursement Options
Summit County Family Engagement Program (you must reside in Summit County)
In recent years, up to $1800/yr has been awarded to families to use on therapy services for their child, up to $2500/yr can be awarded if you have more than one child needing services. Families pay up front but are reimbursed through the county. More information can be found here: https://www.summitdd.org/news/2022-family-engagement-program/ or you may call the Summit County Board of DD at 330-634-8000.
Superbill (Medicaid plans are not eligible for Superbill reimbursement)
A Superbill is a receipt that we will provide with all of the information needed by your insurance company. Patients who receive a Superbill pay up-front for services and then submit the Superbill (provided by us) to their insurance company to seek partial or full reimbursement.
With these options, payment for services is due at the time of your appointment via cash, check, credit card, or HSA/FSA card. Please call your insurance company to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network speech-language therapy and/or evaluation reimbursement. We are happy to provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Use the link below for questions to ask your insurance provider in determining if services will be reimbursed:

Does my child need speech-language therapy?
A recommendation will be provided following the initial consultation and evaluation. Please use the link below to review communication milestones. If you notice that your child has not met one or more of the milestones, they may benefit from speech-language therapy.
Communication Milestones Guide
How do I get my child started with therapy?
An initial intake or consultation via phone will be completed by the SLP. If warranted, the patient will receive a comprehensive speech-language evaluation (if no recent assessment has been completed) to determine strengths and therapy goals. Evaluations typically last 90 minutes and consist of a parent interview, formal/standardized testing (when possible) and informal assessment (observation; completion of motor, speech, language tasks in a more naturalistic activity). Reevaluations are typically completed annually, with written progress reports provided.
What does a typical therapy session look like?
Patients will be scheduled for a standing, weekly appointment. Sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes depending on the patient’s needs. This includes direct therapy, parent training, and consultation.
Do I need a Physician’s Referral?
If you plan to pay privately, you do not need a physician’s referral. If you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance company through a superbill, a Physician’s Referral may be required by your insurance company. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company directly to determine exactly what is required for reimbursement.
